Hughes was named the Lone Star Conference Setter of the Week for the second time this season. Hughes led the way with 36 assists, while also adding a kill, a service ace and 11 digs. She went for 18 assists in each match and had seven digs versus Texas Woman's. So far this season she has accumulated 335 assists, averaging 5.23 per set. She also has a team-best 27 service aces, 12 kills and 132 digs. Hughes dished out a season-best 30 assists in the five-set win against St. Edward's. She has posted double-digit assists in every match this season except one.
