Turner has gotten stronger as the spring season has gone on. The local freshman product from Deming posted a pair of top-10 finishes in the past two weeks. Her performance this week was her tops of the spring so far as she tied for second with scores of 79 and 75 for a 154 at the FHSU Spring Thaw to help the Lady Mustangs place fifth. The tournament before that during spring break she carded rounds of 78 for a 156 to tie for 10th at the SMSU Invitational as the team landed in second.
