Barry, a redshirt senior from Moreno Valley, Calif., took home Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Barry was all over the field for WNMU in the win against Tarleton State as he had a game-high 14 tackles, with five solo, along with 3.5 tackles for a loss of 14 yards and 1.5 sacks for a loss of 11 yards. He helped the Mustangs tally six sacks, which is the third-highest by a team in a game this season in the conference, and was by far the highest in a game this season for WNMU. The Mustangs forced a pair of turnovers and limited the Texans to 259 yards of offense. Barry is second in the LSC with 66 tackles and fourth in tackles per game (11).
