All-American Wetton stayed right with a field of Division I golfers at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate. Wetton’s 223 was his second-best three round score of the fall, just missing his 222 at the RMAC North Invitational. He just missed a top-25 result tying for 36^th and he saved his best for last after rounds of 75, he fired a final round 73. He compiled four birdies during the third round and had six for the tournament. He was near the top of the leader board in terms of par-three scoring posting a 3.08 average.
