History:
Ruiz is a 2019 graduate from Ray High School where she played softball and was named: 2017-18 Defensive Player of the Year, 2017 First Team All-Region, and 2018 First Team All-Region. After graduating, Ruiz was recruited to play at Mid-America Nazaerne University.

Family: Ruiz was adopted by her mother in Dec.2019, Kristina & James (Mother and Father), James, Sebastian, and Jocelyn (Brothers and Sister)
Fun Fact: SHe has four dogs names Gypsy, Iris, Jaeger, and MJ
Hobbies: painting, bible journaling, and making new coffee recipes
Awards at WNMU: a member of Delta Mu Delta, a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success,2020-21 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll, and 2020-21 Dean's List
Aspirations: Ruiz has hopes of running her own business upon graduating from WNMU.
