Xavier Ayers was named both the HERO Sports Offensive Stud of the Week and RMAC Offensive Player of the Week following his big day against No. 8 Colorado School of Mines.

Ayers was nearly unstoppable in the passing game as he was threatening the RMAC single game receiving mark going for 250 yards on 13 receptions and two touchdowns. One of the top passing targets in the nation, he continued to add to those numbers against the Orediggers. Both of his touchdowns were long ones each going for 75 yards, with one coming from Mitch Glasmann (Temecula, CA/Chaparral) and the other receiver Michael Ball (Rowland Heights, CA/Rowland) on a trick play.

He leads the RMAC in receiving yards (838), receptions per game (8.3) and receiving yards per game (139.7).
