Ganna Tiurina earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Athlete of the Month honors for April.
Tiurina remained unbeatable in RMAC play again this season as the Academic and Player of the Year went a perfect 7-0 in both singles and doubles play during the RMAC regular season and tournament action. During her perfect run in April, she won all but one of her singles matches in straight sets and the one that went three was against regionally-ranked Wanda Holopainen of Metro State in which she came away with the 10-8 win in the final set. She played all of her matches at the top flight in both singles and doubles. Tiurina holds a 3.71 GPA and is majoring in kinesiology. She won both honors last year as well.
