Almeida was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the week after winning both of his doubles matches, along with a singles victory. Against Texas-Permian Basin he cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 singles win at the top flight and then teamed with Juan Pablo Fuentes to take the top flight doubles match, 8-4. Against Division I Abilene Christian, Almeida and Fuentes claimed an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles.
