Senior setter Alyssa Meihack (Fallon, NV/Churchill County High School) was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Setter of the Week that was announced by the conference office Monday.


Meihack helped lead the Lady Mustangs to a 3-1 start this season by dishing out 147 assists in 14 sets for an average of 10.50 per set. In addition to her assists, she also had 12 kills, two service aces, was second on the team in digs with 46 and one block assist. She tallied at least 20 assists in each match, with a high of 50 in a five-set thriller over St. Edward's. She posted 44 in a 3-0 victory over St. Mary's and added 33 in a 3-0 win over Merrimack. Her high in digs came against St. Edward's as she posted 23 and she also reached double-digits against St. Mary's with 15.

This is the third time in the last two years that Meihack has been named RMAC Setter of the Week after collecting the honor twice last year as a junior.
