Byrd led team in receiving receptions and yards against Chadron State. He pulled down nine passes for 94 yards, with a long of 30. He also threw one pass for 27 yards. On the season he is second to Marquis Sumpter in all major receiving categories including receptions (53), yards (758) and touchdowns with seven.
