Newcomer Emmanuel Mensah went 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles last week. His only loss was at the hands of Grand Canyon University duo Schoelzel and Murray. Mensah and his partner Johan Weich had the score tied at 6-6, but then GCU broke WNMU’s serve to take the victory, 8-6. In the previous match, the WNMU pair skunked their opponents Bianco and Henke of Sonoma State, 8-0.
