Tiurina started off the season first being named to the RMAC Preseason Team and then she backed that up by winning her first two matches as a Mustang. In her singles match against Rochin of Pima, she won a tough three-set marathon and then she teamed with Nikolina Vukadin to take their doubles match. Both of her matches were played at the top flight.
