Western New Mexico sophomore Arriana Estrada was named the RMAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance at the RMAC Event #2 earlier this week.
Estrada finished tied for the individual lead with teammate Faylyn Beyale at the RMAC Event #2, held Sept. 26-27 at Scottsbluff Country Club in Scottsbluff, Neb.
Estrada opened with an 82 on the par-72 course, but rebounded with a 73 in the second round, which was the low mark for the tournament.
Western New Mexico finished first out of nine teams at the tournament.
Estrada becomes the second Mustang golfer to claim the honor this season, with Beyale being named Player of the Week in the first week.
