At a small 5-7, not only was Angelina Pulu an offensive threat this weekend at the Vulcan Classic, she also was all over the court defensively. She posted 22 digs along with 18 kills in her inaugural match with MSU-Billings. She followed that performance up with 17 digs and 17 kills in the win against St. Martin’s. She did not hit double-digits in the digs category against UH-Hilo, but she made it up with her net play. She had five block assists. Pulu was, once again, all over the back row versus Hawaii Pacific when she registered 15 digs. She also notched 11 kills in that match. She finished the weekend with 3.88 digs per set to lead the team. She also posted nine blocking assists to obtain a 0.56 blocks per set average.
