Sarah Byrne played both first base and pitcher in the Mustangs’ 1-3 weekend against the Colorado School of Mines. Fielding, she was a perfect 100 percent. She had a team-high 30 putouts. In the circle, she gave up two hits and one run in her 1.2 innings pitching. Finally, in the box, she led the team in hits (6), doubles (3), batting average (.462), total bases (9), and on-base percentage (.462). Byrne finished the weekend with three RBIs and a .692 slugging percentage.
