The Mustangs went 1-2 last week with some of the team’s major points from Rodrigo Almeida. Almeida went 1-2 at no. 3 doubles and then 2-1 in singles. In his first singles match of the week, he filled the no. 5 spot and defeated his Concordia (CA) opponent, 6-4 and 6-3. Almeida was then moved to the no. 4 slot the next two matches. Versus the University of California-San Diego, he dropped Nguyen 6-2 and 6-3. Almeida then fell to Fresno State’s Martinet, 6-2 and 6-2.
