At shortstop, Ashley Gonzales led the Mustang softball team in hits (6) over the six-game weekend at the Grand Canyon Invitational. She finished with a .429 batting average, .529 on base percentage, .500 slugging percentage, one double, one RBI, and 10 assists. Gonzales had her best performance in the second game versus the host. She posted three hits on four at-bats as well as one run.
