Freshman Alyssa Meihack handed out 43 assists in the five set loss to Grand Canyon Tuesday (28-26, 15-25, 20-25, 25-16, 15-12). She also had two of the team’s nine service aces and recorded 11 digs. In the first five matches of the season, Meihack is averaging 9.1 assists and 2.29 digs per set. She also has posted double figure digs in three of the five matches.
