Garcia was named the RMAC Player of the Week after hitting a blistering .579 in the four-game sweep over BHSU. She tallied 11 hits, three doubles, a triple, a home run and seven RBI, along with two steals in the four games. She not only had a hit in every game, but had multi-hit games in each contest posting a pair of two hit games, a three hit game and a four hit game. In addition to that, she drove in a run in all four games, driving in three in the opener and adding a two RBI game in the third game of the set. Garcia also scored a run in every game with a high of three in the second game of the series.Â
