Freshman Timo Kilp completed his first US collegiate race Saturday. In Flagstaff, Arizona, Kilp was the first purple uniform to come across the finish line. He placed 35th out of 93 runners in the 8K race in a time of 29:09.1. He averaged 5:51.9 per kilometer. This is the second-best finish by a Mustang in the George Kyte Classic in recent history. Last season, Kempton Jackson finished 26^th.
