Junior Lonnie Sanchez (Scottsdale, AZ, St. Mary's High School, Central Arizona College) led the team in scoring last Saturday at UC-Colorado Springs (W, 77-70). She finished with 19 points after shooting 62.5 percent from the three point line (5-8). In a loss four days earlier to Texas-El Paso, she posted nine points and four caroms. On the week, Sanchez averaged 14 points and three rebounds per game. She also tallied four steals last week.
