Western New Mexico University Athletics

This is Baltazar's third season as the head coach of the program.

Under his first year, he lead the Men to a 5-17 record as well as a LSC tournament berth, while the women would go 1-20 under his direction.

He was the interim during the spring season of 2023.
 

Prior to WNMU: Baltazar comes from Division I New Mexico State, where he was a volunteer assistant coach. Last year as the interim head coach of the Mustangs he would lead the men's team to a 5-10 (2-6) record, including a berth in the Lone Star Conference (LSC) tournament. He would lead the women's team to a 6-11 record (1-9).

While at New Mexico State, Baltazar helped the Aggies win the Western Athletic Conference Tournament in 2022, as well as All-WAC First Team Doubles. He would also help multiple Aggies earn All-WAC tournament honors for doubles and singles.
