Baylee Brown begins her first year as an Athletic Trainer at Western New Mexico University, where she works directly with the Mustang football and women’s basketball programs. She is committed to providing high-level care that supports both performance and long-term health.
Born and raised in California, Brown earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Chico, and her Master of Science in Athletic Training from California State University, Fresno. Throughout her clinical education, she developed a passion for working in fast-paced, competitive environments, gaining hands-on experience with Division I football at Fresno State and the University of Georgia.
While at Fresno State, Brown embraced leadership opportunities as Treasurer and Interim President of the Sports Medicine Club and served as a student representative for Region 3 of the California Athletic Trainers’ Association. These experiences strengthened her commitment to collaboration, communication, and advancing the profession of athletic training.
Brown’s work has also been recognized at the state level, with her research accepted for presentation at the 2026 California Athletic Trainers’ Association Symposium. She brings a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and a genuine enthusiasm for helping student-athletes return to what they love with confidence.
She is excited to be part of the WNMU athletic department and to contribute to a culture centered on care, trust, and competitive excellence.
