Western New Mexico University Athletics

High School: Played for Apple Valley High School as an outside hitter.  She is the daughter of Tami and Kevin Lyneis.  She holds a 4.33 cumulative GPA and helped her team win league title back-to-back years after a 16-year drought. Her combined stats as a junior and senior included 664 kills, 163 blocks and 147 digs. The 6-foot outside hitter accumulated many honors being named First-Team All-Area in 2012, First-Team All-League in 2012 and 2013, High Desert Volleyball Player of the Year in 2013, Second-Team All-County in 2013 and was named Daily Press Volleyball Player of the Week. She played club for Horizon VBC (2010-11), Club West (2012), and presently with the Rancho Valley VBC (2013-14).  She also competed in the Junior Olympics (2012).

WNMU (2014): Lyneis played in 21 matches and 68 total sets where she compiled 84 kills, 13 assists, 61 digs and 25 total blocks. She recorded a season-high 11 kills against Arizona Christian and posted a 20 dig match versus Texas-Permian Basin. 

WNMU (2015): Lyneis suited up for 25 matches, starting nine and playing in 80 sets. She posted 116 kills, three assists, a service ace, 56 digs and 27 blocks. She went for a season-high in kills with 10 twice versus Fort Lewis and Adams State. She had 15 digs against Adams State and a high in blocks with five versus Colorado Mesa. She did well in the classroom earning All-RMAC Academic honor roll status.
