Arnav Arkanath enters his first season as the men’s and women’s golf Graduate Assistant after a stellar collegiate career for the Mustangs.

Arkanath’s sophomore and junior years were particularly fruitful, demonstrating time and again his comfort playing under par. During his junior season, he made a trip to the NCAA Championship, averaged a remarkable 72.3 scoring average, and posted a 75.12% win-loss record. He recorded six top-10 finishes that season, including a 10-under-par runner-up finish at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout.

In addition to his outstanding performance on the course, the Milton Keynes, England resident achieved the prestigious NCAA Elite 90 award in 2024, which recognizes the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the Championship. His perfect 4.0 GPA in Business Marketing over four years was matched only by his ability to 'go swimming.' That performance also helped his 2023–24 teammates earn the team GPA award at the Championship.

A well-rounded student-athlete, 'Arnie' served as a GA in the Sports Information Department during the 2025–26 season, compiling statistics and writing stories for the department.
