Biography

Marissa Hernandez is a junior on the cross country team from Chandler, Arizona where she attended Chandler High School and ran cross country and track and field. Before Western New Mexico University, she also attended Mesa Community College where she also ran cross country and was a back to back NJCAA DII national champion. She enjoys running, hanging out with friends and family, paddle boarding, hiking, baking, fishing, and traveling. At WNMU, she is majoring in nursing, and aspires to become a nurse and to travel.
