Biography

WNMU (2016-17): Botelho was second on the team in scoring at 11.9 points per game while brigning down 3.8 rebounds per game, 18 blocks and 22 steals in averaging 28.2 minutes per game. She started in all 27 games. She scored a season-high 23 points against Eastern New Mexico and went for 20 or more points twice. She tallied double-digit scoring in 17 games including finishing the season with nine straight games accumulating double-digits in points. Botelho grabbed nine rebounds twice against Northern New Mexico and UT Permian Basin. She tallied four steals against Texas Woman’s. She made 36 percent from the field, connecting on 129 field goals.

WNMU (2015-16): Botelho was third on the team in points per game averaging 8.6 per contest. She also added 5.1 rebounds per game, 17 assists, 14 blocks, 41 steals, 28 free throws and a team-high 106 field goals in playing in all 28 games, starting 27. She averaged 26.0 minutes per contest. Botelho had a pair of double-doubles against South Dakota Mines with 16 points and 12 rebounds and then against Fort Lewis with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She scored a season-high 21 points versus Northern New Mexico and a high in rebounds with 12 twice against University of the Southwest and South Dakota Mines. Botelho came away with five steals against Western State.

WNMU (2014-15): Botelho shined in her first season with the Lady Mustangs logging big minutes in crucial games as a true freshman. Not only did she play in all 27 games, she started in 11 where she averaged 20.7 minutes, 7.7 points and 4.7 rebounds. She also came away with 32 steals, seven blocks, 18 assists and made 90 field goals. She averaged double-digits in points in 10 games with a season and career-high 14 points occurring four times against Colorado Mesa, CSU-Pueblo, Black Hills State and Chadron State. Botelho recorded a double-double against Adams State with 12 points and a season and career-high 11 rebounds. In that same game she also had her high in blocks with three. 

High School: Botelho, a 5-foot-10 forward, played at Iolani High School in Honolulu where she averaged 11.5 points per game as a senior. The honors poured in including First-Team All-ILH as a senior, Second-Team All-ILH as a junior, honorable mention All-Hawaii Division I All-Star (2014), Honolulu Star Advertiser, All-State selection, Fab 15 All-Star and Jeremy Robinson, Senior Girl's Classic Game All-Star Pick.
