Western New Mexico University Athletics

WNMU (2013-14): Young played in 27 games, starting seven. She averaged 2.9 points per game, 18 steals, 38 assists, 35 rebounds, 14 free throws, 15 three-pointers and 25 field goals while averaging 14.7 minutes per contest. Scored a season-high 10 points at home against UC-Colorado Springs and had a high in rebounds of six against University of the Southwest. Hit two three-pointers twice in a game and had four steals at Black Hills State.

WNMU (2012-13): Played in all 26 games, starting eight. Young averaged 3.3 points per game, 1.8 rebounds, made 20 three-pointers, 46 assists, nine blocks and also had 12 steals while averaging 22.3 minutes per game as a sophomore. She was named to the All-RMAC Academic Team with a 3.39 GPA and is majoring in psychology.

WNMU (2011-12): Played in 23 games, starting 12. Averaged 19.7 minutes, 2.1 rebounds and 3 points per game. She also added 13 steals and 10 blocks.High School (Freshman Year): Academic Honor Roll.

High School (Senior Year): First-Team All-Region, First-Team All-Northern Utah, Third-Team All-State, Standard Star Athlete of the Month, John Watson Basketball Player of the Month. Named to the Academic Honor Roll.

High School (Junior Year): Second-Team All-Region, Second-Team All-Northern Utah and Honorable Mention All-State. Named to the Academic Honor Roll.

High School (Sophomore Year): Honorable Mention All-Region, Honorable Mention All-Northern Utah. Named to the Academic Honor Roll.
