Biography
High School: Perez played at Canutillo High School in El Paso, had a terrific senior season that included 24.6 points per game and a high of 31. The accolades began to roll in for her during her sophomore season as she was named the Canutillo High School MVP for the second straight season, team captain, honorable mention All-District after averaging 12 points and five assists per game. Following her junior season, she was named to the First-Team All-District, All-Tournament Award, Offensive Player of the Year while averaging 17 points, seven steals, two steals and eight rebounds per game. She was solid from the outside connecting on 39 percent from three point range.
