    Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
Sasha Montez is in her first season as an assistant coach with the WNMU women’s basketball team. She spent the past year as one of the assistant varsity basketball coaches at Cobre High School.
 
Prior to that, she played two years for the Lady Mustangs, one year under former coach Greg Adams and the other under current head coach Rusty Kennedy. She played in 30 games for WNMU.
 
She graduated from WNMU with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. Originally from Nanakuli, Hawaii, Montez played at Nanakuli High School before playing her first two years of college basketball at Eastern Arizona.
