2014-2015 will mark the third season in which Medina will be assisting head coach Rusty Kennedy.
She spent one season playing for the Lady Mustangs during the 2009-10 season where she played in 15 games, as prior to that she had a solid high school career.
High School (Sophomore Year): All-Academic Team, First Team All-District.
High School (Junior Year): All-Academic Team, First Team All-District, Second Team All-Metro, Team High Scoring Award.
High School (Senior Year): All-Academic Team, First Team All-District, Second Team All-Metro, Top Five Percent of Graduating Class, Albuquerque Public Schools Athlete of the Year, State Farm Insurance Player of the Week, Participated in North/South All-Star Game, McDonald's All-American Nominee, Participated in Metro All-Star Game, Second Team All-State.
Since her time of playing at WNMU she was the girl’s varsity basketball assistant coach at Del Norte High School and helped lead the team to win the District Championship and a No. 6 seed in the State Tournament.
