WNMU (2017): O’Neill stepped right into the action as a true freshman as she pitched in 20 games, starting eight and logging 57.1 innings. She came away with three complete games and 16 strikeouts. O’Neill went for a season-high 7.1 innings in an extra innings contest versus CSU-Pueblo in which she limited the ThunderWolves to just six hits and three earned runs, along with three strikeouts. She added a six inning performance against Texas A&M-Commerce and had a high in strikeouts with three twice. O'Neill was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll one semester.

High School: O'Neill, a pitcher from Bloomfield, went 12-6 this season, while adding a 3.36 ERA and 91 strikeouts in 104 innings. The Bobcats won the District 1-4A championships during the season and she also helped at the plate posting a staggering .560 average.
