Elsa Cocker

Elsa Martina Cocker begins her first year as the assistant coach for the WNMU Lady Mustang softball.  Coach Cocker a native of Ewa Beach, Hawaii brings a great amount of knowledge, discipline and passion to the game. Coach Cocker spent the last two seasons 2014-2016 with the Trinity Valley Community College Lady Cardinals of Athens, Texas where she worked alongside Ashley Johnston and Trisha Robinson as the assistant softball coach. Coach Cocker specialized working with hitters and outfielders. During her time at TVCC she was coached 4 All- Conference athletes.

Prior to Trinity Valley Community College, Coach Cocker spent a year as a student assistant for her Alumni Angelo State University under Travis & Katie Scott where Cocker worked with hitters and infield. Cocker Coached 2 First Team All- Conference players, 2 Second Team All- Conference players and New Comer of the Year.

Cocker played Two years for Tommy Ramos of Midland College where she was a Two- time first Team All- Conference, All- Region player, Team Defensive Player and in her final season she was named a 3rd Team All- American. Cocker played her last two seasons for Angelo State University for Travis Scott. In her Junior season she was named second team all- conference. In her final season she had led her team to a conference and regional championship, Cocker was named to First Team All- conference Team, LSC Player of the Year, First Team All- American 3rd basemen and the Lone Star Conference Female Athlete of the Year. She looks forwards to an exciting season for the lady Mustangs!
