2025 Men's Cross Country Roster
Biography
High School:
Castorena graduated from Parkland High School in 2023. At PHS, Castorena participated in cross country and track & field. At PHS, Castorena was a 2021-2023 UIL 5A Regional Qualifier, 2022/2023 UIL 5A Cross Country and 3200m District Individual Champ, and 2022 El Paso All-City Cross Country Team.
Achievements:
In 2024, Castorena achieved the LSC All-Academic for his performance. Castorena has also consistently delivered reliable performances across varying distances, clocking times of 15:56.5 in the 5K, 24:54.6 in the 8K, and 32:40.9 in the 10K. Castorena was also a member of the team that finished in third place out of 41 teams at the Old Glory Gallop at DBU held on October 5.
Hobbies:
In his spare time, Castorena enjoys playing video games, running, and hanging out with friends and family.
Future Aspirations:
After WNMU, Castorena aspires to impact those around him positively.
