The Albuquerque native, enters his first year as a Mustang. Tommy Huynh played his high school basketball at Highland High School, where he broke a school record for assists in game with 15.

Before WNMU:
At  Highland High School: Huynh had a decorative high school basketball career. In his senior year, he appeared uin 32 games, averaged 9.1 ppg, 4.0 reb, 5.6 ast, and 1.3 stl. Huynh was a  4A All-Academic all four years in high school. In the 2019-20 season, he was 4A Second Team All-District, All-State Team Honorable Mention, made the4A North vs South All-Star Team, was Top 5 in NM for Assists, and broke school record for most assists in a game with 15.

Personal:
Tommy hasn't declared a major, but has plans on staying connected with basketball, in the career choice he decides. When Tommy isn't playing basketball, working out or studying, he likes to hang out with family and friends, doing graphic design, and drawing.
