Biography
WNMU (2016-17): Giron averaged 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds, along with 26 assists, nine blocks and 25 steals. He went for a career-high 16 points twice against Texas A&M-Commerce and West Texas A&M. Giron went for double-digits in scoring nine times and had 13 rebounds in a game against Oklahoma Panhandle State. He came away with four steals versus Texas A&M-Kingsville.
High School: Giron, from Monterrey, Mexico, is a 6-foot-5, 180 pound guard that put up some solid numbers during his time at Harmony Science Academy in El Paso, Texas. This past season he averaged 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists. He played AAU basketball with Latinos Select under Coach Ron Vicencio.
Why he chose WNMU: "I chose Western because I felt like it was a great place to start my academic and basketball careers. Also I felt like the overall environment of the school fit me well."
