Originally from Uvalde, TX, Espinoza comes to Silver City after serving as the Assistant Coach for fellow Lone Star Conference member Texas A&M-International. Espinoiza coached at Texas A&M International for 3 years and started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Newman University.

While playing for Jets, Espinoza was a key player in their successes, being named All Heartland Conference Honorable Mention in the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons. 

Espinoza also has a three year old son, Jamari and credits his family for all the support over the last few years.
