Breion Powell is entering his Freshman year with the Mustangs. Powell is from Austin, TX, who played basketball at Pflugerville Connally High School. 

Before WNMU:
In his senior year, at Pfluferville Connally High School, Powell averaged 17.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. Some of Powell's accolades include: MVP of the District, All-Region, District Tournament MVP honors, and three-time District Player of the Week three times. His efforts also earned him regional and state recognition being tabbed TABC All-Region, All-Vype Honorable Mention and Second Team All Central Texas.

Personal:
Breion is currently focusing on his general education, academically. He has aspirations of playing professional ball. In his spare time he likes to hang out with his friends.
