Western New Mexico University Athletics

Nathan Flores is a redshirt freshman football player from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended La Cueva High School, where he competed in soccer, football, swimming, and track and field. During his high school career, Flores was named JV Special Teams Player of the Year. He is currently studying at Western New Mexico University with an interest in Kinesiology.

Nathan is a first-generation college student and a first-generation Mexican-American. He has also volunteered in his community, including helping a family in Hurley clean up their home after it was damaged by a fire. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and is currently learning Portuguese. Outside of football, Flores enjoys playing video games and making music.

After graduating from WNMU, he hopes to continue his football career professionally, pursue coaching, or earn another degree. Nathan is also a Christian and strives to glorify God through his football career and everyday life, hoping his faith is reflected through his actions, words, and work.
