Biography

Before WNMU:
In high school, Ruiz participated in football, baseball, basketball, and track.

2024 Season:
During the 2024 season, Ruiz appeared in seven games and recorded 18 total tackles, evenly split between 9 solo tackles and 9 assists, while adding 2.0 tackles for loss for 12 yards. His most impactful outing came on October 19, 2024, at Sul Ross State, where he posted four total tackles, including a tackle for loss that resulted in 11 yards lost, and also registered two quarterback hurries. He consistently contributed across multiple match ups, including solid performances against West Texas A&M and Adams State.

Hobbies and Aspirations:
His hobbies include cooking, fishing, and snowboarding. After graduating, he hopes to attain a Master's degree.
