Biography

WNMU (2014): Marques burst onto the scene in his first full season on the field for the Mustangs. He was named the RMAC Offensive Freshman of the Year as he was the first Mustang to go over 1,000 yards in several years going for 1,296 yards on 229 carries and six touchdowns. His rushing yards broke Anthony Gray's 1,284 in 1998 and are the most yards on the ground for any Mustang runner since Anthony Gray posted 2,220 in 1997. He was also named to the Second-Team Offense. He rushed for over 100 yards in six games, going for over 200 yards on two occasions with a high of 222 against Adams State. He nearly had a 100-yard rushing and 100-yard receiving game against New Mexico Highlands, rushing for 104 and hauling in 91 receiving yards.
