Western New Mexico University Athletics

Julian Hernandez is a freshman football player from Oxnard, California. He attended Pacifica High School, where he competed in football and track. During his high school career, Hernandez earned numerous honors, including All-CIF-SS Division 3, VCFCA All-County Upper Division, VCFCA All-County Academic First Team, and First Team All-Marmonte League. He was also named his team’s Defensive Back of the Year, earned Team Blackshirt honors, and was recognized as Male Athlete of the Year.

Julian is currently studying General Business and Computer Science at Western New Mexico University. He is one of six siblings and enjoys hiking, fishing, swimming, reading, photography, and playing video games. After graduating from WNMU, Hernandez plans to pursue a career in the military and hopes to become an officer.
