Biography

High School: During his senior season at Deer Valley, he averaged 54.1 yards on 50 kickoffs, with 13 going for touchbacks. He went 35-37 on extra point attempts and made 8-11 on field goals, with a long of 60 yards. As a junior he averaged 44.2 yards on 33 kickoffs, with five netting touchbacks. Botello connected on 22-25 extra points and 5-7 on field goals, with a long of 41 yards.
