Jeremy Valdez Jr. is a redshirt junior football player from Lordsburg, New Mexico, majoring in General Business. A versatile multi-sport athlete, Valdez competed in football, basketball, baseball and track and field at Lordsburg High School before attending New Mexico Military Institute.
Valdez earned numerous honors across multiple sports, including First Team All-State Quarterback, 2A District 2 Offensive Most Valuable Player, Team MVP and Honorable Mention All-State Secondary honors in football. In basketball, he earned First Team All-District and Defensive Player of the Year honors. He was also named to the All-State Second Team as a baseball utility player and helped lead his track team to a 2A 4x100-meter state championship and a 4x200-meter state runner-up finish in 2023.
After graduation, he plans to work in the electrical field, gain experience and earn the certifications and licenses needed to eventually start his own electrical contracting company. Outside of football, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching and playing sports, hunting, fishing, hiking, working out, playing video games and taking his dog Bella for walks.
