Perez is entering the 2020-2021 season as a redshirt junior. Perez has 26.5 total tackles, 3 pass breakups, and  one interception.

CAREER AT WNMU
Redshirt Sophomore (2019) Perez recorded 22.5 tackles, 10.5 of them came at West Texas A&M (9/28/19). Perez also had an interception OUAZ to open up the year (9/7/19).

Redshirt Freshman (2018): Appeared in 4 games, totaling four tackles. 

Freshman (2017): Utilized as a redshirt year.

High School:
Perez graduated from Carlsbad HS, playing football, baseball, and track & field. where he was a 2x All-Conference OLB. In 2016 Perez was First-Team All-District Defensive End and in 2015 he was Second-Team All-District Defensive End. Other accolades include: Second-Team and honorable mention tight end, MVP of the defensive line and was All-State long snapper (2014-2016).

Personal
Perez's is a criminal justice major, from Carlsbad, NM. His aspirations after WNMU is join the DEA. Academically he has made the Presidents List. In his free time he likes to lift weights, go fishing, play video games and play with his dog.
