Diego is a football player continuing his sporting activities from high school, where he also used to be a football player and a power lifter. From Frisco, TX, Diego was also awarded All-Conference High School Awards in his school at The Fullerton High School Memorial.

2024 Season:
During the 2024 season, Diaz appeared in multiple games and finished the year with 27 total tackles, including 21 solo stops and six assisted tackles. His most productive outing came against Eastern New Mexico on October 26, when he recorded a season-high 11 tackles, showcasing strong sideline-to-sideline pursuit and reliability in open-field situations. He added 1.5 tackles for loss on the year and logged one sack, which came against Adams State on September 12, reflecting his ability to contribute on blitz packages and backfield pressure.

Hobbies and Future Aspirations:
Diego is currently pursuing his Accounting degree at WNMU and eventually aspires to earn a Master's Degree in Accounting. In his free time, Diego goes fishing or hunting, or sometimes stays back home to enjoy video games.
