Hunter started as a Filmer for the 2021 season. He then was promoted to be the Running Back Graduate Assistant in week 4 of the 2021 Season. Currently, he is the Assistant Offensive Lineman Graduate Assistant Coach.

Native of San Antonio, Texas, he originally grew up around the US Army First Calvary Division. His brother served in the 1st Calvary from 1999-2007. He served in the Iraq War from 2003-2007. He fought in what is known as "Black Sunday" and would pass away on July 22nd, 2007, after losing a hard fought battle with PTSD. Hunter credits his older brother for introducing him to football. Hunter explains, he would call him while he was in Iraq every Monday and talk to him about the Baltimore Ravens (that was his favorite team).

During his football career, he played defensive end, outside line backer, tight end, running back and wide receiver. Some hobbies Hunter enjoys is working on cars, and anything involving the outdoors. He is a huge Star Wars fan and hates spiders. His life long goal id to be someone that his brother would be proud of. Hunter said "I want to leave a long-lasting positive impact at WNMU. Something that will benefit the future of this University. Hunter's favorite quote is, "We do this for those who can't."
