2024 Season:
Zimmerman has emerged as one of Western New Mexico’s most productive and explosive offensive playmakers during the 2024 season. Appearing in 11 games, he finished the year with 39 receptions for 570 yards and seven receiving touchdowns, consistently serving as a primary target in the Mustang passing attack and delivering multiple game-changing performances. His most dominant outing of the season came on November 9, 2024, against Texas A&M–Kingsville, when he recorded a career-high 182 receiving yards on eight receptions, adding two touchdowns. The performance was highlighted by a season-long 52-yard reception, marking the highest single-game yardage total and longest catch of his 2024 campaign. The receiver demonstrated elite scoring ability on October 26, 2024, against Eastern New Mexico, producing 11 receptions for 124 yards and four receiving touchdowns. The four-touchdown effort represented his season high in receiving scores and underscored his effectiveness as a primary red-zone target.

Zimmerman was selected as the 2024 Lone Star Conference First Team Offense for his exciting play

Prior To WNMU:
Attended East Anchorage HS, where he was a member of the football and basketball teams. He was a member of three state championship teams and earned first-team all-state honors as a wide receiver and defensive back.

Hobbies and Future Aspirations
After WNMU, he hopes to own his own business or make the NFL. In his spare time, he enjoys hooping, playing video games, and hanging out with friends.
