Personal:
Medina is native from El Paso, Texas, where she will be graduating with her business degree the spring of 2020. In 2017, she graduated high school at Montwood HS. After high school, she went to Western Texas College for two years before transferring to WNMU. After her time as a Mustang she plans on getting an internship to get experience in owning her own business. When she is not on the field or studying she enjoys morning runs, riding her bike, hiking, listening to music and sobbing while watching romantic movies. When she was at Western Texas College, Medina was enrolled in the Radio and TV announcement class where one of her projects was to run her own radio station talk show at the college. On 91.1 FM she was live every Thursday morning at 7am for “A Different View”.

What It Means to Be Mustang?
Being a Mustang is more than just throwing on a jersey, it’s representing your university, it’s being the change you want to see in younger generations.  Being a mustang is giving your 110% on and off the field, it’s learning to play selflessly, it’s about failing and coming back stronger. What am I going to do today to make me a better person/athlete tomorrow? WNMU has taught me to appreciate my family even more than I already have, it’s taught me to be independent when needed and to love the life I live.
