When asked what it means to be a Mustang?
"Being a Mustang at WNMU has taught me how to be a part of a team. Moving to Silver City helped me grow as an individual, as well as an athlete. I have learned to be independent, work on my time management skills and most importantly the meaning of responsibility. Being on the team brought me the ‘sisters’ I did not know I needed. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to experience playing collegiate softball in a great town with a great community. I am proud to represent my hometown, family, friends and the softball community as a student athlete here at Western New Mexico." -Brittany Santellanes
